Laser Epilation is today the best method known to fight the hair excess in non desired areas in women and in men.
The advantages that laser epilation offer over the traditional depilation methods is it’s permanence in time (up to several years!), doesn’t stimulate hair growth, doesn’t make hair thicker, less painful and highly selective, thus it protects circundant skin to the hair from irritation and/or burns. All this advantages can be obtained only if this procedure is made by qualified medical personnel.
Is it a safe treatment?
The laser epilation is a perfectly safe procedure: there is no risk of contagion or infections.
The laser apparatus is adjusted according to the area to be treated and the patient’s skin color. The laser-epilated area is expected to look reddened up to several hours after the procedure, but usually lasts less than an hour.
How to prepare before each session?

· Avoid waxing 2-3 weeks prior to the laser treatment.
· Avoid depilatory creams on the previous 4 days to the laser treatment.
· Avoid sun tanning 2 weeks before the laser epilation.
· Shave the area one or two days before (not on the day of the procedure).
Can everyone have a laser epilation?
The patient should come to a medical counseling so it can be determined whether he or she has any disease that would prevent the realization of the treatment or if the patient takes any medication not compatible with laser.
